My name is 'K' and I have been using Acupuncture to shrink my large fibroids for the last year. Check out my blog page on the subject at:

I resorted to using Acupuncture as an alternative to having a hysterectomy. After all, nothing was wrong with my uterus, so why should it be removed? Why not just get rid of the fibroids that happened to be growing ON the uterus? With the success I have had over the last year, I would suggest Acupuncture as an alternative form of treatment to shrink fibroids. Of course, everybody's body works and responds differently. So, do as much research and talk with more than one Doctor before deciding on a hysterectomy. According to Dr. Oz, 'in many cases, a hysterectomy is not necessary'.
Let me know if you have had success or failure with Acupuncture.
